What does National Hospice & Palliative Care Month mean?  It means that it is time to bring all the awareness we can to HOSPICE care.  People often times have myths about HOSPICE and this is a great month to try and clear them up so everyone understands exactly what HOSPICE means-- so today we will start doing just that.

MYTH #1
Myth: Hospice is a place.Reality: Hospice care usually takes place in the comfort of an individual's home, but can be provided in any environment in which a person lives, including a nursing home, assisted living facility, or residential care facility.

Follow me this month as we look at many many more myths and much more information about HOSPICE!  Tell your neighbor Happy Hospice & Palliative Care!!!

If you want to come by my office and pick up a purple ribbon to wear for the month of November to represent-- while supplies last!
