Be productive not busy-- Celebrate Christ & inhale the breath of fresh air-- I did!

When I tell you I have been super productive just the first week of December.  Now many of you use the WORD busy-- I use the word productive...because to me BUSY simply means doing something to be doing it, but not really accomplishing something.  Whereas Productive means that I did something and then something was produced from it!!!! Last week our TEAM did one 62 and older LUNCH DROP-- What is a LUNCH drop?  That is when we swoop into a community and go door to door and take them lunch that is still warm from our kitchen at our REHAB/Nursing home!! We DROP lunch, chat and make sure the resident doesn't need anything while we are there!!!

Then not two days later we swooped into another community and did a Christmas Party-- notice I said it CHRISTMAS PARTY and not HOLIDAY party!! We were celebrating the birth of CHRIST with a party, giving away gifts in the name of Jesus and eating lots of food.  We had a blast!  One very FAVORED person won a brand new vacuum cleaner.  It was great--

Wait that wasn't all then I had the distinct pleasure of doing some in-home visits to see if some families were ready to bring Hospice on as part of the PLAN!!  We explained hospice because she had heard it from a friend and when the friend explained it all she heard was DEATH!!! When we sat down at the kitchen table all she heard was LIFE!  The patient said-- "They call it HOSPICE, I am going to call it comfort, relief, assistance-- a breath of fresh air!"
