As many of you know my husband and I are preparing to go on a MISSION trip to Lima Peru to work for one full week and "Spread the Word of Christ".  This to us is an opportunity of a lifetime and we thank God that we are able to participate in this trip.

The cost of the trip for both of us is close to $4,000.  A cost that honestly we probably could cover on our own (with a little sacrificing), but our local Leadership has asked that we work with others to put our feet to the ground and "spread the word" -- you see I am finding out that the more people who help-- the more it spreads the simple idea that HELP is all it takes to impress on someones heart to "spread the Word of God"--

Some have said they would rather offer spiritual assistance-- prayer WORKS!!! Like my mother in law says-- Prayer has no distance-- it works from wherever you are.

Some have really put their hands to work-- a co-worker Sheila has literally knitted a BUNCH of cuuuuute scarves to sell with 100% of it all going to our balance!  Then Sheila came up with the idea to raffle off a VISA Gift card-- You rock chick-- you are the BOMBdotCOM!!  All in the name of spreading the word of GOD!!!     Deuteronomy 15:10 Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.

Someone said to me if everyone you ever helped cut coupons or save money-- just gave you one dollar you would be well on your way to paying for your trip, your husbands and someone elses! Wouldn't that be great!!!!
