We need desserts dropped off at Agape Senior 159 Sedgewood Dr! We usually have desserts donated and vendor couldn't do it this year-- HELP!!!

UPDATE on needs: Need about 250 name tags, dish towels for servers and to assist in help clean up, serving spoons, forks-- for the serving line-- can you help? Still need cranberry sauce-- BREAD COMPLETE-- small Dollar Tree gifts-- Will you help? Drop off at Agapé Senior 159 Sedgewood Drive Rock Hill, SC

Here we are again--- Christmas 2014 -- after over 20 years of VOLUNTEERING at the Dorothy Day Soup Kitchen it never gets OLD!! As every year we have more volunteers-- and unfortunately more NEED to help!! Almost 20 years for my mother---Over 13 years for my husband and now our boys who started at 4 & 6 and now are 13 & 15....It over joys me to be able to say Let's start the CHRISTMAS CHAOS!!!!
Last year we delivered over 750 meals-- that means that we sent 2 meals for each person and that is over 300 people in need with an emphasis on SENIORS right here in YORK COUNTY!!!
I will post later today how you can help on Christmas Morning-- with a schedule & needs!
HOW can YOU help before TODAY? (NOW)
1. Let us know do you know someone who will be home for Christmas and may not have a lunch and dinner on that day? Let me know via email in subject line write Please DELIVER a meal- These can be entire families, sick, shut in-- whoever!!
2. We realize that not everyone wants to GIVE up the Christmas Day to be with us, but really wants to help-- here ya go!!
--- Donate some @DollarTree gifts -- What you ask? Well anything you can think of that a Senior Citizen may use in their home or let your kids just go @DOLLARTREE crazy picking out gifts like it is for grandma and grandpa. Everything from grocery items to oven mitts. The idea of the gifts on Christmas is....sad to say...many of the people we serve may only GET THE GIFT you donate.
If you purchase items (I hope you will)-- EMAIL me with DOLLARTREE in the subject line--
--We also hope that we get so many gifts that we have a NEED for wrapping paper to wrap them and or gift bags!! So if you have some extras or don't mind picking up a roll-- we would greatly appreciate it.
3. It looks like we have all the FOOD we need....EXCEPT cranberry sauce. What is dinner without the cranberry sauce??!!! If you have one can or twenty cans-- EMAIL me and let me know-- in subject line put CRANBERRY SAUCE
UPDATE 8:51 -- we need rolls, bread-- cooked not heat & serve!!!
